WELCOME

Thanks for visiting my website and for your interest in my campaign.  I am seeking your favorable consideration and support of my candidacy for the Orleans Parish School Board Member – 5th District.

I was born in New Orleans, a product of the public school system and a lifelong advocate for our children. My life experiences have prepared me for the responsibilities necessary to provide the leadership required to improve the quality of our public school system.  Our community, our children, our teachers, our school employees and all of us deserve the best education that we can provide.

I am not a politician. I am not interested in serving on the School Board as a "stepping stone" to another office.  I am, however, dedicated to our children. My commitment to the well-being and needs of the children of this parish has defined who I am at work, church and my civic involvement. Public service and the ideals of fairness, justice, equality and education began at the heels of my grandfather, the late Reverend Avery C. Alexander. 

Campaigns and candidates make a lot of promises.  Please listen to more than the speeches and look at what we have done.  My record speaks for itself.  This election should not be about politics.  It is about our children.  Look at my record and please vote for me.
